Delightful, caring, intelligent and excellent instructors.... A safe environment, teachers who are able to interact with my children.... My children are learning so much! The instructors are very pleasant and great with the children. My child is responding to the curriculum extremely well. It is very stimulating. He was speaking some Mandarin after the second class! The customer service is superb! The atmosphere is great. Anytime I have a question, I always receive an answer. Keep up the good work!
The instructor is wonderful. She is sensitive to all of the children's needs and has a unique talent of connecting with the children. In my son’s words, "French at Wonders is my best class!" Customer service is excellent. Also, the instructor was wonderful in working with my son and me, when he was a little uncertain about a story being used in class. My son’s experience to date has been great.
We are thrilled and thankful that we found your school. We feel like family. We are looking forward to the endless possibilities of what our children will learn and experience. It is beautiful to watch how positively the children respond. You are the gold standard for how all schools should be managed. It is such a friendly and pleasant environment. I love referring friends because I know they will be treated exceptionally.
My daughter spontaneously comes out with little Spanish phrases, and she's starting to say words that I don't understand, so already she's better at Spanish than I. She says, 'The teacher speaks Spanish, we sing songs, and we do arts and crafts. She's nice.' She is very positive about going. She is always happy after. Scheduling is excellent for our needs. I couldn't ask for anything more. I always recommend your school heartily to anybody I meet who mentions a desire for their children to take extra language classes.
We are at the beginning of my son’s second session, and just the past week my husband and I have noticed such a transformation. He is singing and talking in Spanish at bath time and during his every day activities. He talks to our Mexican waiter at our local Sunday Breakfast spot in Spanish and sings him songs too. He is even trying to teach our 19 month old daughter everything he knows. Which, I might add she is doing a great job keeping up with him and can converse with our waiter too every Sunday in Spanish. We cannot wait to send our daughter.
Wonders has had an extremely positive effect on our children’s' desire to learn a new language. We switched from a school which my kids dreaded, to racing to Wonders to see if we could show up before the other students. All the instructors are well qualified and super friendly, which isn't a surprise because of how much time and effort the owners put into making Wonders a quality school. My three children's experience so far is extremely positive. It is a program that we plan to keep them in for quite some time (hopefully until they're fluent)!! The availability and times of classes is excellent. Our family gives Wonders top marks and recommends this school to everyone.
It takes a very special kind of individual to work with children at such a young age. There are a lot of challenges like getting them excited or motivating them to want to participate, feeling secure in the environment, and nurturing their unique individual needs so they can learn and grow. Now trying to do all of that while speaking a foreign language and dealing with preschoolers...that is a tall order, yet my son’s teacher does it effortlessly, with a calm, warm, nurturing demeanor while allowing their creativity and inquisitive minds to explore the endless possibilities of another language. It is really quite beautiful to watch. Especially since yesterday my 19 month old daughter and I stood outside the class room watching 5 children sit in earnest hanging on her every word while she told in her animated style with a long blond wig a story. I was amazed at their concentration, focus and pure interest to every move she made.
The instructor never loses sight of the main goal of language acquisition, even when a 5-year-old’s sense of humor may try to interfere with flow of the class. She is flexible and adapts to the different personalities, while keeping the class on track. My son always comes out of class smiling. Even the week the rest of his class was out sick, he was alone, yet very comfortable. My son is certainly enjoying himself. There seems to be enough repetition in the curriculum for vocabulary and phrases to stick, while still maintaining enough variety to keep them engaged. I am pleased with the fun, play-based foundation of the program, especially as it is after school. At the end of last session, my son was able to explain the game he was leading for the parents on the final day, so he and I could play it together at home. He loved it when I played with him! Additionally, the instructor is always willing to clarify the lesson or vocabulary with the parents before or after class. I have been extremely impressed with the combination of professionalism and personal touch at Wonders. You have been very responsive to queries and billing issues, making the logistics of enrollment and follow-up smooth and easy. For parents, there is no worry over the business side of the experience. At the same time, every child is greeted with enthusiasm and warmth, making the encounter a comfortable one for all involved.
